“Meditation so far is having a very positive influence on my life. Several people have commented on a change in me. I’ve had a few sessions that have felt more difficult but overall I would say the vast majority have been good. I am managing to maintain two regular, twenty minute sessions most days and do now find myself looking forward to them. On Sunday I even managed a fifteen minute one with my three year old sat next to me sharing ‘quiet time!’ To be fair though he was a little under the weather over the weekend so had less energy than normal.  I have a long list of people who I feel would benefit from this knowledge, particularly my pregnant wife. However, I’m mindful not to push! Hopefully some of them will be on a course soon.”

Call me naive, but I still find it staggering that a certain other “app” 🙂 that’s been around in the west for over half a century hasn’t gone mainstream!!  Especially when as mentioned below some 10.4 million days are lost annually to work-related stress in the UK, according to the Health and Safety Executive.

“About 5 or 6 years ago, I was at one of the lowest points of my life. I needed something in my life to help me. I found Transcendental meditation & ashtanga yoga. Not at the same time like, but more or less!! Next week I am getting married to the most amazing woman I have ever met. Everyday, take practice. This shit works!!!”
